Jason McBain, BA
Jason McBain was born and raised in the lower mainland of British Columbia. He studied at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, with a focus on Health Psychology and Rehabilitation. During this time, Jason was involved in developing some mental health destigmatization training for nursing students. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Jason spent the next several years working in the Fraser Valley with persons with acquired brain injuries; supporting them to achieve an optimal level of independence, and advocating for better support services for persons with disabilities. Jason was named “Support Worker of the Year” in 2014 by the Fraser Health Acquired Brain Injury Services Program. Motivated by the core belief that, no matter what, all people deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, Jason brings his easy going nature, compassion and resourcefulness to the team at Construction Rehab.
